Week 4 of BMOC

Hey guys, here is the update on week 4 of BMOC. The workouts are going really well, I am still training intense with all the drop sets and supersets. In previous workouts I never used them quite as much as we do with BMOC but I will from this point on. I feel a lot harder and stronger even from using them. I have been wanting to talk to you guys about the importance of  BCAA's and Multi-vitamins. I have found a couple articles on bodybuilding.com that i think you guys should check out if your not on BCAA's and if you are check it out anyway so you know more of why they are essential for you to have on top of your fridge with the other supplements.

Also here is a multi-vitamin article. When I became a personal trainer I learned that we can't eat all the vitamins that are essential for our bodies. Multi-vitamins allow us to consume all the of the bear essential vitamins that we need for our bodies to run right. Week 3 BMOC

Hey guys, week 3 was great seeing some tremendous strength gains. I sort of like doing the same exercises every week due to the fact that you can see the strength gains. He keeps it at 8-12 reps for the most part and so it is easy to see if your gaining strength or not. The only thing that I have been really going lower that 8 is for my last set of deadlifts. I am now doing 405 for 5 so I am happy with that hoping to do 425 for 5 next week. I am just taking all natural supplements such as Intek evolution protein 35 grams per serving, Kre-alkalyn which is a ph buffered creatine before I workout, BCAAs, Dymatize nutrition super multi vitamin, fish oil and the curse pre workout. BMOC week 2


The end of week 2 BMOC. It has been great, the pumps are amazing with the supersets and drop sets. I have been eating pretty lean just trying to build that lean muscle and so far it is working. Some of the things that are part of the bmoc workout I don't always have at the gym or aren't always open for use so I just use a different exercise that basically performs the same movement. BMOC

Hey guys, just tuning in to let you know how the first week went.. it was geatt, a lot of intensity in the gym and great workouts. I love the super sets and drop sets. Also Steve cooks nutrition guide is great and very easy to stick to. Right now I'm the leanest I've ever been in the off season sitting at 178-180 but I'm ok with that. Will hopefully be doing another show in may of 2013. So stay tuned pics to come!

BMOC!

Wow i am doing bad with this but it all changes now. I have started steve cook big man on campus program today off bodybuilding.com. I have never really followed someone elses program before but he is my hero and I did his chest workout today and it was great. So every week I will be posting here to let you know how his program is. I will posy every friday for the weekly review. Stay tuned as we grow!

Finally

Hey guys, I know I have truly sucked at this but here is a bit to write this time to catch up. First lets start with this transformation, to be honest I have not gained weight but turned the weight I had into lean muscle. I am much harder than I have ever been before at 180 so in a sense I am happy about it. I really would like to stay lean this summer and make a weight gain in the winter time when their is no swimming. Second this is the importance of BCAA's, they are my number one go to supplement besides protein. BCAA's when increase your energy as well as intensity in the gym. And what I have noticed when on them is that I get a lot harder muscle when I am taking them. If your not on them do some research about them and start because they will make your results that much better. Beginning of transformation

Hey guys, this is what I am looking like right now. Usually a bit leaner but I just ate steak with white rice, onions and peppers so I was a bit full. But I plan on getting a little bit harder with fuller muscle these next few weeks and possibly denser. Not much you can change in four weeks as far as muscle gain but I'm going to give it my best shot!

Transformation

Hey guys sorry I am no good at keep my blog updated nearly as much as it needs to be. But so you guys know I have decided to do a little bit of a transformation for myself. I right now am quite lean for the offseason but am ready to pack on a few pounds and get some good lean size added. Lately I have been in a slump in the gym not really wanting to be there. But NOW its game on and I am ready to grow. I have all my supps lined up and ready to go, they are all natural ofcourse the strongest thing I will be taking is tribulous but besided that its the basics. I will post my picture up of how I look right now on wednesday. Hope you guys are ready for this because I sure am! TRINITY TRAINING!

Being Home

Recently as some of you know I have moved away from my family to WV to be closer to my amazing girlfriend. Well this being my first move away from home it is a big difference. When you need someone to talk to they aren't there. One thing I have learned is that when I need something from home I go to the gym. The gym is my home, it is my something I can relate to. No matter what gym it is the weight still weighs the same (most of the time). It is what I am familiar with and it is always there for me, always there to fix whatever problems I am having. So this is for all the people who rag on me and all the other bodybuilders out there for doing what we love. I'm tired of being asked why do you do this to yourself. Do what to myself? Make myself better? Why don't you do this to yourself instead of doing nothing? I do this because this is me, this is what I am here to do. It is what makes me feel like I am home even when I am not there. It doesn't matter if this isn't your thing but find what is you so you will always have something to go to even when your not home.

Fun Stuff

This is a healthy home made pizza. Taste amazing and can make it in 10 minutes. Here is the ingredients and cooking instructions.
-Healthy Pizza:
Whole Wheat tortilla wrap
1 1/2 Tbs pure virgin olive oil
Tomato sauce (no salt added)
Fat Free cheese
Shredded chicken (pull the chicken apart with your fingers)
And that is it you can add whatever else you want to it as well.
-Cooking instructions
Pre-heat oven to 300 degrees
Take a whole wheat wrap and spread the virgin olive oil around it.
Then take the tomato sauce and spread around the wrap (as much as you would like).
Spread the cheese and put the chicken on. Then leave the oven at 300 and bake it for 10 minutes or until it is to your liking. Hope you enjoy!

Supplementation

Here are the supplements that I am on at the current moment. From left to right; I am taking Opus as my pre workout depending on the day I may take Neurocore instead. Next is Natren HGX which is a natural human growth hormone and testosterone booster, Opti Men for multi-vitamin for now but will be taking Complete Active when my Opti Men runs out. Next is Kre-alkalyn for my creatine source (Kre-Alkalyn is a Ph buffered creatine, which gives you the full serving of creatine and keeps whatever gains you make with it on you even when you stop taking it). Protein is Intek Evolution, first time taking it but am extremely pleased by the taste and the non bloated feeling after taking it, ( also has 34 grams of protein per serving and is a very lean shake). Next of course is fish oil and then the Re-Built Mass for my mass gainer, It is a very lean mass gainer and taste great. Also I personally only take 1/3 of a serving so it last 3 times longer and I still get the benefits of lean muscle gain. These are the supplements I take minus the BCAAs. Pretty simple stuff, hope this helps you guys when choosing your products.

Gettin that weight up!


Stepped on the scales today weighing 180. Haven't been taking anything but protein just letting my body calm down. But time to get back to using some supplements. So we can make some bigger improvements. My diet has been pretty clean, of course eating more tasteful things. Being able to put flavor on chicken makes a big difference! Here is a pic from today and some of the food I get to eat now.
On the plate is tilapia fillets, crab mixed with shrimp and some potatoes. It was a good dinner thats for sure!

First day of 12 week to size

Here is a picture at my new place after my first true work out back at the gym. I just started my new training program today and it was amazing! I have never followed someone else's workout program but I am trying out the Jim Stoppani 12 week shortcut to size. I had read over the E-book which I found on bodybuilding.com a few times to make sure it was legit, so everything seems like it will work well. I took Blitz and NX6 for my pre workout supplementation today for this particular workout and I got one of my best pumps to the point I could not go heavy on weights because of the pump. First day back

First day back in the gym since the show. Wow it felt so good. Also first day at my new gym in Kenova, WV. It was great went in got a huge pump feeling great. A week after!

This is just an update for you guys for what I have been up to with my time off. I have gained 15 lbs putting me at 171 lbs. Since I have been doing a going away dinner just about every night I have been doing cardio everyday as well. I also start this week back at the gym but will only be doing cardio and circuit training so I can get my joints back into the swing of things. I also have moved to WV so during this move it has been hard to eat right. The picture is me from thursday morning at the gym doing cardio. I plan  to stay a lot leaner than this but like I said with all the eating out it has been tough. But will post another pic at the end of this week! Thanks for reading guys and God Blesss!

The Natural North America

Well guys the show didn't turn out the way we were planning with the placing. But I went in there looking my absolute best but the choosing of the judges didn't think it was the best on stage so they put me with a 3rd placing. At first it was a disappointing feeling but I prayed before the finals that God would put me in a placing where he would be glorified not to give me the positioning that I physically want. So 3rd was the placement where God feels is the perfect placement for me to glorify him. I will put a few pictures up so you can guys can see how I looked and how i was with my competition. I will be starting my new workout/diet/supplement plan in about 2 weeks because my body needs rest and I am moving to WV so I need to get situated there.
